Prater Galerie
For the reopening of Prater Galerie on Berlin’s Kastanienallee, we developed a new logo that reflects both the natural surroundings of the chestnut trees and the rich history of the gallery, located within an event venue founded in the late 19th century. Our interpretation of the chestnut builds on the long tradition of using its distinctive shape as a visual marker. Traditional yet contemporary, the new symbol has a fluid appearance and can take on a variety of spiky forms.
The identity was extended into a poster campaign combining historical imagery with the new visual language. A new website guides visitors through the gallery’s programme and history, while a series of publications explores different aspects of its past.
