
re:publica 2025
Generation XYZ
In our tenth year of designing the re:publica conference, we explored the overlaps and intersections between three generations. The conference motto, 'Generation XYZ', was visualised using only the elementary colors of both colour models, RGB for screens and light design and CMYK for all printed materials. Applying our design concept we once again collaborated with re:publica's creative director, Tanja Haeusler, as well as architect, Max Linnenschmidt; animation designers, Jutojo; and sound designer, Owen Lloyd.
With around 10,000 participants, re:publica is one of the largest conferences on topics at the intersection of society, politics, and digital culture. Since 2016, we have developed the event's visual identity based on its annual theme. We apply the design to digital assets and printed material, and as the festival's art directors, we oversee the development of stage and on-site designs, as well as motion graphics.
